Ballet Teacher:
We are seeking to expand our ballet teaching team, with opportunities to teach children on Saturdays. We are proud to say that demand for our classes and teachers is high, hence the timetable expanding. This opportunity is with effect from September 2024, and the initial committment would be for a year.
We run classes from pre-school through to Advanced, accepting both children and adults (according to standard), we put on an annual whole-school show in March, with RAD exam sessions held in June and November. RAD syllabus knowledge is useful but not essential for all classes, as we are seeking a teacher to cover general and development classes, with exam preparation led by our RAD RTS teachers.
The right person will be an experienced and qualified teacher, preferably an RAD Registered Teacher, however all qualifications & training will be considered. They will be child/student-centred in their approach, creative, and have high standards of personal integrity and professionalism. They will enjoy working as part of a team, and may have an entrepreneurial spark. They will be able to supply excellent references and evidence of their teaching history. They will have a first aid qualification and teaching insurance, and evidence their commitment to Continuing Professional Development.
The position is for a self-employed professional with compensation payable through a basic teaching rate arranged pro-rata over 11 months, plus a profit-share, payable in month 12 (August).
